Job Description

The role of the Social Media Content Creator encompasses dynamic and creative responsibilities within our team. This individual is tasked with developing and curating captivating content across multiple OOm social media platforms, including TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. Key responsibilities include generating innovative ideas as well as crafting visually appealing and compelling content aimed at fostering brand awareness, enhancing engagement, and driving overall growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop captivating content for social media channels, incorporating visuals such as images, graphics, videos, and written copy.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the brand, its values, and target audience to produce copy that resonates with followers, adapting the writing style to match the brand’s voice and maintain consistency across all social media channels.
  • Possess proficiency in videography and photography skills to create diverse content.
  • Produce and edit compelling video content, ranging from short-form clips to longer pieces suitable for TikTok & Reels.
  • Utilise graphic design tools, video editing software, and other multimedia creation tools proficiently.
  • Implement strategies to increase followers, and engagement.
  • Cultivate a sense of community by actively engaging with followers and KOLs (if required).
  • Collaborate with the content creation team to synchronise copywriting with the overall content calendar, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Ensure written content complements visual elements to convey a unified brand message.
  • Manage and maintain social media accounts across multiple platforms such as TikTok, LinkedIn, IG, and Facebook.
  • Schedule and publish posts to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
  • Prepare regular reports on key social media metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Analyse social media analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Incorporate relevant and timely topics from social media trends and cultural shifts into content while aligning with business offerings and goals.
  • Stay updated on feature updates of different social media channels.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to any negative feedback or crisis situations on social media.
  • Ensure social media activities adhere to legal guidelines and company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Mass Media preferred.
  • Demonstrated at least 2 years of experience as a Social Media Content Creator with a compelling portfolio on TikTok.
  • Thorough understanding of social media platforms, their audiences, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools, video editing software, and other multimedia creation tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving trends.
  • Past production/content creation experience is a plus.
